Presentation

The 7th Transdigital Virtual Conference: Disruptions and Continuities is an initiative of the Society for Research on Digital Studies S.C. This edition will be held entirely online on October 30 and 31, 2026. The objective is to bring together preliminary or final results of empirical research, documentary studies, or scientific essays on topics and challenges involving technology and digital transformation.

The 7th Transdigital Virtual Congress is aimed at researchers, educators from all disciplines and levels of the education system, undergraduate and graduate students, , school administrators, and other professionals interested in empirical and documentary research on the use of technology and digital transformation in various social spheres, such as health, education, finance, leisure, gender issues, sports, employment, justice, and so on.

Types of participation

There are two ways to participate in the 7tho Virtual Congress Transdigital:

  • Speaker.
  • Attendee

Those interested in presenting may submit an unpublished paper presenting preliminary or final results of empirical or documentary research, or scientific essays on the integration of technology into any social context. Empirical or documentary research reports and scientific essays are accepted.Papers may be submitted in Spanish or English.

Those interested in attending as Assistant can access all presentations and academic videos for free on the official website of the 7tho Virtual Congress Transdigital (www.congreso.transdigital.mx) on October 30 and 31, 2026.

 

Papers may be submitted from April 1 through September 15, 2026.

Short academic video

Speakers at the 7th.o Virtual Congress Transdigital 2026 must submit a video lasting between one and three minutes that highlights the abstract of their presentation. The deadline for submission is October 15, 2026. Submissions may be made via email or through a cloud-based file-sharing service such as nube Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. The short academic videos submitted to the 7tho Virtual Congress Transdigital be posted on the Transdigital YouTube channel: Transdigital:

Certificates

Al finalizar el 7.o Virtual Congress Transdigital various certificates will be sent via email, depending on the type of participation:

Speaker Certificate: A speaker certificate will be issued to each author of the presentation, and an attendee certificate will be issued upon request via email congreso@transdigital.mx, if it met the following requirements:

 

  • Have paid the registration fee for the 7tho Virtual Congress Transdigital.
  • Have submitted your paper in the official format of the Transdigital Virtual Conference.

Attendance Certificate: An attendance certificate will be issued to those who request it in advance by email congreso@transdigital.mx, if it met the following requirements:

  • Payment of the certificate issuance fee: 60 USD.

Attendance at the 7tho Virtual Congress Transdigital is free; there is a fee for the certificate.

Publication of a book chapter by Transdigital Transdigital

Papers accepted for the 7tho Virtual Congress Transdigital will be published in December 2026 as a chapter in a scientific book byTransdigital Publishing House Transdigital (editorial-transdigital.org). The book will have an International Standard Book Number (ISBN) and a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for the entire work and for each chapter.

 

The book will be available for free on Dialnet, EBSCO, Google Books, Google Play, Google Scholar, eLibro, Scilit and Academia. It will also be available at a nominal fee on Amazon Kindle (a fee paid by Kindle readers).

 

Transdigital Publishing is registered in the National Register of Publishers as the publishing agent Sociedad de Investigación sobre Estudios Digitales, S. C., with the ISBN 978-607-99594.

 

In addition, it is a member of the National Chamber of the Mexican Publishing Industry (CANIEM) under membership number 4069, in accordance with Article 17 of the current Law on Business Chambers and Their Confederations.

 

It is registered with the National Registry of Scientific and Technological Institutions and Companies (RENIECYT) of Mexico’s Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation under registration number: RENIECYT 2400068.
